Sept 18 - enemies, lasers, junk damage


Hey all!  I'm considering using this devlog system to log my progress over time, and keep myself accountable for work each day.

Here's log #1.

Fixes implemented:

  • Crosshair works again.  I just removed it and added it back, and then it worked.  Strange.
  • Player ragdoll state now actually works.  There was a random frame a long ways at the end of the animation, which I suspect was causing the issue.

Features added:

  • Lasers now do damage to player
  • Player switches to a ragdoll state when hit
  • Lasers damage and destroy junk
  • If you're holding junk and that junk item is destroyed, it properly switches off the holding system
  • Player drops junk if player is hit
